Superb 2009 140PD sudden power loss

Featured Replies

It began yesterday. Suddenly out of nowhere car losses all the power, throttle pedal is dead. When I release the pedal and step on it again, car works normal until the same thing happens again. No need to put it in neutral or to turn engine off. It's quite strange. Happens when driving with cruise control on too.

This is what vcds reported:

When I deleted these faults, they didn't appear again, but car suffers from same fault, so I kind of doubt that this is connected do G450 sensor. Any ideas?

That could be many things but I wouldn't rule out the sender on the pedal or the throttle end on the lump either but that sensor is known to fail anyway.

Today I changed G450 sensor, adapted it with vcds and so far it looks like this was the fault. Car is runing without any power or other problems. I hope it stays this way:)
