MAF sensor

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a skoda octavia mk1 vrs. I need to buy a new MAF sensor as the old one needs replacing. Ive read on this forum that the Bosch ones are the same. Is it worth me gettin one of those or buying a vag one from skoda which is costing me £150.

Ive seen this one is it worth getting this ...

Please advise. Thankyou

Also when i rang skoda they asked for the old MAF sensor back and told me this is an exchangeable part ans the price included the old MAF being returned.

Is this correct?

AFAIK the one from eurocarparts parts is the same as you would get from skoda

Thanks mate for the reply

if you have a local Bosch depot it's probably cheaper

Bosch one for ECP has done me fine for the last 40k miles. I think it was about £70 at the time.

A genuine VAG MAF from TPS cost me £76 exchange about a year ago.
