when does the yeti 2 come out?

Featured Replies

Is it worth waiting till the face lift yeti comes out before I get a yeti 1? Will the prices drop considerably or am I better off trying to get a good deal on my vrs now to get more for it? To be honest the yeti is just out my price range at the moment but for the right finance deal I would definitely do the swap. My fabia is just not right anymore for family life with prams dogs etc, as much as I would hate to see it go i need to move on, just not sure of the right time.

The Facelift is not Yeti 2. FL is talked about by dealers as being in Dec 2013 or by Autocar as early 2014, but who knows what the exact timetable of FL demos arriving at dealers, being able to order FL models etc might be. I guess there may be some run-out models of the current version available at attractive prices by the end of the year?

Yeti 2 will possibly/probably be 2016.

Ah right. Might nip Claybank where I got mine from at weekend and have a look.

Problem is, nobody knows exactly what the facelift will look like yet and how much of the (quite good) tech will filter over from the Octy3.

In other words, if it's worth waiting for.

But waiting until all that is known will probably mean it's too late to order a pre-facelift anyway!

First step might be to go to a dealers with "prams dogs etc" and see if it will all fit in -  there have been threads talking about having to think vertically rather than horizontally when packing a Yeti. I'm very happy with my Yeti but whilst my Golden Retriever and JRT go in the back quite comfortably there isn't a great deal of space left over (although to be fair the old lady likes to sprawl out rather than sit up). I took a clean blanket to put in the cargo area when I went to see my dealer and he was absolutely fine about me putting the dogs in his demonstrator.
