2004 '04' Fabia Vrs

139,000 miles

3 or 4 previous owners (will check)

MOT until feb/march 2014 (again, need to double check)

Tax until end of August

Full service history, stamp from cambelt/water pump last summer, all filters and oil changed at 136,000 by myself.

Selling as I've got a new job far closer to home and I need another screaming petrol in my life!!

I've owned the car since December last year, please feel free to check my project thread in my sig for a history on the restoration it's been through! Prior to this my best mate had it for 4 years so I know it's history very well.

Don't really know where to start, so I guess I'll list mods!

Engine Mods

Brand new PD150 Turbo fitted October 2012

THS Seat Sport Style FMIC

Full forge pipework for FMIC from their own seat sport style kit

VRSDovit upper alloy boost pipe

EGR Delete

Piper Decat down pipe

New Sachs Race SRE Lightweight SMF and SRE clutch kit fitted with brand new slave in April this year.

Custom remap done on rolling road and road tested producing 191bhp 308ft/lbs I have dyno sheets.

Vibratechnics top gearbox mount

Powerflex red bottom box mount bush

Handling/suspension

Weitec Hicon GT Coilovers - brand new Jan 2013 with new top mounts etc.

Whiteline 22mm adjustable front anti roll bar.

H&R 25mm rear anti roll bar.

Powerflex purple front wishbone bushes - front and rear ones.

SuperPro rear beam bushes.

312mm front and 256mm rear calipers with new pagid discs and pads, loads of life in them!

Steering weight increased with vcds.

Freshly refurbed Ibiza Cupra Alloys with Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tyres all round, these were brand new a couple of months ago, so only a few mil down from new.

Interior/Styling

Facelift Rear lights with Cree led reverse bulbs.

Retrofitted oem looking rear parking sensors (work brilliantly!)

Race tech 2.5bar boost gauge fitted into drivers vent.

Alpine Bluetooth head unit with built in Parrot etc

Leon Cupra R Splitter.

There's likely to be loads more I've done! Most mods were bought brand new in the last 7 months, it's actually sickening to think how much I've spent as I've written that list out :(

Overall bodywork isn't great, the front is heavily stone chipped, there's a scuff on the front bumper, a few parking dents in the doors, and a few scratches on the rear bumper.

Don't be put off by the engine mounts, the two of them combined have less vibration than I had with a super pro bottom box mount!

Yes the single mass chatters, you do get used to it, and it's totally silent when the clutch is depressed.

This is an ideal car for a big turbo project, all the groundwork has been done. The clutch will take about 390 ft/lbs I think, it's Sachs race and top quality.

The car has been corner weighted so its set up and balanced nicely.

Asking for £3,750.

Please don't ask me about splitting the mods, there's a LOT on it and I have literally no standard parts!

Toying with the idea of ripping mods off in exchange for standard parts + cash.

But gonna hold out a week or so see if it takes anyone's fancy!

Wierd Josh.

I can but assume that people are put off by the high mileage - although everything which is knackered by that age has been replaced and upgraded - or by the modifications.

I'd snap it up if i don't already have 2 cars on the drive; unless you wanna swap for a slightly tatty red one with ridiculous wheels :D

I'd imagine if you do go down the breaking route the vultures will pick this clean in a matter of minutes.

You will still then have a high mileage standard car to try and shift though....

You may well find you'll make more or less the same money from stripping it though. It's a difficult one to call.

Anyone considering it should not be put off by the mileage, mine sold with 153,000 on the clock and has recently been RR'd at 160k still giving out 200bhp.

p.s. first dibs on the FMIC and pipework if you split <<<<insert vulture smiley here>>>>

The mileage shouldn't put people off, but does for some reason. People who put this much money into a car looks after them, probably better than the average driver IMO.

If I could lay my hands of the money before I sold mine I would have it off you :(

I would be interested josh as the celica isn't as economical as I thought lol. But the logbook hasn't come through yet so i can't sell it :( I know you've looked after it alot!

Yeah high mileage is always a concern but as youve all said, all wearing parts have been replaced!

The most money I could get out of the car were to split it down to a shell and scrap the leftover, there's a lot of money worth of mods sat in this car, or if I returned to standard I'd probably make more than the advertised price, but it's a major ball ache unless I buy a ****ter to run about in.

Having said that I've a lad from Swindon interested :)

Dan, I could even drop it to your door seeing as my old man lives your way ;)
