Left foot rest problems

Featured Replies

Does anyone else have problems getting their left foot in between the clutch pedal and the centre console to put it on the footrest or do I just have big feet....when I can get there I may have a go at bending the clutch pedal slightly to the right (if it's metal).....it's either that or slice a bit off of the side of my trainers

No it's not just you.

I've come over to the Superb from an Octavia and noticed much less space!

When I move my foot to the rest I rub the carpet with my foot so I'm sure it's going to wear over time.

The Octy even had a plastic footrest to the right of the accelerator too.

I have size tens and don't have a problem but I do wish there was a better foot rest for the throttle peddle as opposed to the wheel arch intrusion.

Just checked and my size 10 Sketchers are a full 5 inches across....maybe it's my choice of trainer

I came from a mk1 octy and I also must say the superbs foot rest ain't anything to shout about, it's alright but not as good as the Octavia

I don't know about the MkII but on my MkI the foot rest has a plastic edge clipped in and I manage to unclip it about 5 out of 10 times I depress the clutch. I only have to clip it back in with my foot but it gets annoying after a while.
