Vehicle data sheet

Featured Replies

DGW has told me that Q16 on my vehicle data sheet tells me that my vehicle has 30,000km/2 years service interval.

Where can I find out what all the other letters and numbers refer to, please?

Have a look here:

There is a link to an options decoder.  I tried Q16, which didn't work.  Looking more closely at your photo it is Qi6. which is the service interval that you have stated.  You may want to remove/edit the VIN from your photo.

Thought the GO1 or GO2 was the service interval?

Must be wrong, as usual

Yes, Q16 should read QI6. It is still 30,000km/2 years. Skoda dealers have the facility to print off a Vehicle Data Sheet for your car listing all the option codes and their meanings. My 2011MY Octavia has circa 190 codes from memory.

This is the list of service interval codes I found via one of the many decoders available on the web. I will try and check the source.

VAG Service Intervals

QI1 - Service Indicator 5,000 km or 1 year (fixed)

QI2 - 7,500 km " " "

QI3 - 10,000 km " " "

QI4 - 15,000 km " " "

QI5 - 20,000 km " " "@

QI6 - 30,000 km or 2 years (variable)

QI7 - Service Indicator (10,000 miles)

QI8 - 40,000 km or 2 years (variable)

QI9 - Fixed interval USA

I want to edit my initial post, as per fordfans advice, but it won't let me, saying I don't have permission to do this. Any help please?

I've sorted it for you.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. Was it because I didn't have enough posts?
