Will put this question to my local dealer when I get the chance but in the meantime, having done a search on here and t'internet cannot come up with anything conclusive, would appreciate it if anyone knows the answer. 

The 1.2 has a chain not a belt, properly the reason you can't find any info on it   

Yes good to see chains being installed again, should be good for at least 150,000 miles where as belts 40000 or 4 years, one of the reasons I went for a petrol over diesel was the chain belt issue and DPF, plus low mileage, not having a belt will save me £1k on lifetime ownership costs.
