Ordered 2.0 TSI DSG in White

with Onyx Leather, Amundsen Sat Nav, Heated Screen, heated Washers, Park Assist, spare wheel and sunset Glass.

 

So should arrive just as the weather turns

I thought heated screen want available on the TSI. Has your dealer checked this?

Yep heated screen isn't available with the TSI, says so under the options in the brochure.

I checked it out through the skoda car configurator, you can order the winter kit for the TSI but if you order the items seperately they are offered. the sales guy at Wayside said it was not available but when I showed hinm the build sheet he raised the order same as I had, heated screen, heated seats and heated washer nozzels. you have to have all of them (so why you cant have the winter kit is beyond me) but the order has been accepted on the Skoda system and we have the order print out.

I did this with the 1.4TSI Elegance. My order was accepted by Skoda then put on hold. You may find your order will do the same, unless the issue is just with the 1.4TSI engine.

 

I'd recommend that you or your dealer checks with Skoda UK or you may find your order just sits there and doesn't progress. Mine did for over a week before I found out what was holding it up.

Just been given the log/ build number (or what ever the Skoda term is for it) and build week 38 so its looking good for October

The dealer gave it to me when I called to confirm the build date, Just said if I wanted to check progress of the car it would make things easier for them to quote the number if he was not there

Got a call from the dealer today that its going to be built next week! Not had a word said about the heated screen not available on the TSI so we will find out in a few weeks time

Ordered mine today from the same dealer! Was told that heated screen is an absolute no no! Went for the estate in candy white, added leather heated seats, pak assist and sunset glass! I'll be we'll cheesed off if you can get heated screen!
