Position of hand brake

Featured Replies

On a cabin pic of a left hand drive I noticed the hand brake was on the left (next to the driver). On the one I tested it was still on the left the other side of the cup holders. Is Skoda just being cheap/ lazy for UK drivers?!

On the Octy II the handbrake was on the side of the driver, but the Golf it was on the left in them all regardless so do not feel too bad :) As I look at the new Octy it just means you have unrestricted access to your cup holders with handbrake on. possibly more comfortable for using it not being right beside you. (always a bright side to things if you want there to be)

we just bought a LHD so the problem was solved.

Thanx FUBAR. I just kept reaching down at the side of my seat in the position familiar on my Mk II. Guess I'll get used to it :)
