Soon to be owner of a Felicia - advice pls

Featured Replies

Hi,

does anyone have any recommendations for servicing garages in London, preferably East London?

I am just about to take posession of my very first car (it is a 6 yr old Felicia )and am a bit nervous about things going wrong. There is also a worrying lack of information on the web about garages servicing Skodas!

any help much appreciated

Welcome to Briskoda. Just about any independent garage should be able to service the Felicia. It's very similar to the Golf and is a pretty basic car.

To be honest, for routine servicing - do it yourself! I did mine on all my older Skodas, and its easy peasy.

thanks to both for your advice!

would be great if I could service it myself, but knowing absolutely zero about mechanics of cars, I'm afraid that is not an option!

what about spare parts? assume these come from official dealers - any ideas for London? I'm just thinking of scenarios where things go wrong...

Routine spares are widely available through motor factors. For example, my local independent garage managed to get replacement front struts off the shelf from Partco.
