hi help needed,

I am trying to remove glovebox from the car to gain more access to change V68 hot flap servo motor.

I can not seem to disconnect the passenger air bag key switch 'yellow plug'. Should it just pull out??

Any help appreciated and advice on removal and finally changing the flap servo.

The airbag switch comes out of the housing by pulling it forwards - there are metal spring clips down the two sides.  Once you pull it out you can remove the yellow connector.  Don't turn on the ignition without it in unless you have access to VCDS/VAGCOM or some other diagnostic tool - you will get an airbag light.  If you you have to run the car with the glovebox out you might want to just reconnect the switch and leave it loose on the cable loom.
