Doorcard insert scratch concealer?

Featured Replies

I used some silver touch up paint on a mark on my door card, worked ok, just take your time and be careful not to drip any.

Easy for me as my car is silver :sun:  (brilliant silver not sure of the code)

good for the alloys too.

So the external paint works on the internal plastic? Sounds hopeful.

worked for me, the car had a mark on the rear door car when i bought it at 9 months old. Its been good for nearly 18 months.I put it on with a cocktail stick, a little at a time.

Hasnt budged with cleaning either.

Excellent. Does it just blend it nicely or is it obvious?

I guess its obvious in direct sunlight, but the mark on mine was quite deep.

Its certainly better than the black plastic under the silver finish, just put it on thin, in layers if needed.

I dont think the inserts are available as spares.

Doesn't look like the easiest thing to remove. Possibly screwed on from the other side? I could end up snapping it trying to pull it off!
