Superskoda LED boot lights (again)

Hi All,

I originally bought these http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/FABIA/Fabia-I-MEGA-powered-LED-dome-light-for-your-trunk for my Fabia and i am assuming that they are exactly the same as these http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-II/Octavia-II-MEGA-powered-LED-dome-light-for-your-trunk mainly as the description and code etc are both the same (someone tell me if i am wrong)...

I tried to fit these in my Blackline but could not get them to fit as there is a metal band around the hole in the boot that is not big enough to allow them to fit (hope that makes sense). Has anyone else had this issue with a Blackline or have people just replaced the bulb rather than the whole unit.
