My last 2 vRS's had Bolero headunits and when I would be cleaning them they would shut off after an hour.

However the Amunsden shuts off after 30 mins or so,

I know this may sound trivial but can I change this to 1 hour?

Had a look through VCDS earlier, can't see anything about auto-shut-off.

 

Shame, as I would have liked that one too.

Got there with this one.

 

Fire up vcds

 

Select control module >

 

Navigation >

 

Adaptation >

 

Choose Developer mode temp from drop down

 

Then in the lower box choose Enable >

 

Hit Do it..

 

Then on Amunsden press and hold the setup button for approx 20 seconds

 

new menu appears

 

Choose settings >

 

Then go in to Hours Timer,

 

you will see 30 n there

 

Change to 60 or whatever you want.

 

Exit

 

Shut off and reboot

 

Job done 

Cheers for the instructions, every time I wash the car it turns off half way through!

I gave up turning the radio on in the first place.
