So after upgrading top boost pipes my whooshing noise stopped but now is back! Checked the top boost pipes nothing a miss there so lower half it is!

Am I right in thinking I need (from intercooler 90 degree bit) two 60mm bayonet couplers with 51mm 90 degree hose (non reducing)

Also would this pipe/hose be good from/to the turbo... http://bit.ly/11YnfIi ?

Is there anything else that would be needed whilst under the car sorting those pipes/hoses out?

When you upgraded the top pipes. Did you replace the hose that joins the intercooler to top plastic pipe?

Replaced everything from egr to intercooler

So now looking actually under the car, so from intercooler to turbo

I made this today, it's essentially the turbo pipe and the bottom silver 'pancake pipe'

Where did you get the bit that goes into the turbo? And I don't suppose you have taken off your original one yet I've heard there is some sort of restriction in there.im just about to fit my fmic tomorrow but couldn't do this because I couldn't find that bit

The difference between the standard and this one is quite big! There is like a restriction in the standard one. I didn't fit the pipe as I've been sent the wrong sized mikalors! Will fit it next Thursday and take a photo of them side by side so you can see

If you copied my pipe then all you would need from the intercooler is a coupler and a 90 degree pipe.

Not sure what size the coupler is from the intercooler though sorry.

I assume it wouldn't differ too much from the top boost pipes so 51mm silicone pipe/hose and just the couplers so again I'd assume it would be 60mm - 51mm bayonet coupler

How much did the turbo pipe cost to make up dan? Also the turbo pipe that I linked in my post does that look like it will do the job? (Suppose I will find out when it's in the air)

The pipe in the first post doesn't look like it will fit the Fabia, possibly the golf or something with a garret turbo....it would make sense as the garret turbos need clocking to fit the Fabia.

Coupler was about £25

Boost hoses are about £10 each

You would need a length of 51mm alloy pipe to act as a joiner. (I got 1m for £10)

Then just the mikalor clips

Very much is worth it. I was going to fit it next Thursday but I spoke to my turbo guy and he said to leave it as he will sort it out for me. Will get some pics up of it fitted once I get the car back

I was thinking to do the lower pipe job because I have leaks and last week end, I check the connection and everything is in a very bad condition (no visible leak but all OEM connector are more than poor!!).

The other thing is that I totally forgot to make the mesurement....So I'm comming to know from your experiences, what exatly I need to buy from Forge I guess....

What I think to do is :

- 1 connector from the turbo out (KKK turbo) : What Size I need to take?

- 1 Silicon hose from this turbo connector to an aluminium hose to replace the OEM one with connector : Do I need a hose with reducing? I think the connector from the turbo is not the same diameter than the rest...? Am I right?

- 1 alumimum tube

- 1 90 silicon hose from the alumimum tube to the IC

- 1 connector for the IC

- 4 jubilee clips I guess..

So I some of you could help me to choose about the diameter, size, lenght and so on, I will be very kind...
