My outgoing Tom Tom has speed camera location. I have just bought a new Columbus but notice on ebay they sell them with speed cameras in the maps. Does anyone know if you can just add the cameras to the hdd please?

The speed and traffic light cameras are installed on map updates generally where someone has added them as POI's on top of the official update so they are there. But unlike your tomtom and every other sat nav it will not actively alert you that you are approaching a camera. You just get to pick cameras as one of the POI icons that appears on the map itself. The official map updates do not have them at all, just the 'hacked' ones where someone has added them I think. Discussing how and where to get such versions is generally not something that is allowed on the forum. I will say it could involve a trip to Ebay or an internet connection and a blank dual layer dvd.....
