Steering Wheel Options

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've a 59 plate VRS manual so no buttons on the wheel. Didn't think I'd really miss the volume controls on the wheel but I really do! Probably because I've had them on my cars for the last 10 years.

So what are my options? I really liked the wheel on my old Leon FR so wouldn't mind....

Thanks in advance for any advice

Replace with a multi function steering wheel but that isn't cheap. My Golf is the first car I've had them on and whilst I like it I wouldn't go to the hassle and expense of retrofitting.

Fit the MFSW. I fitted one to my manual VRS and it's not that expensive if you DIY it (its easy to fit)

Got mine from Skodateile in the Czech Rep. Delivered to the UK in under a week, good service and the parts were brand new. Had to get mine from there as I wanted the red stitching one and couldn't find one on eBay etc. My dealer also reckoned they couldn't supply one.
