6 speed dsg problems

Featured Replies

I've got a 2005 2.0tdi 6 speed dsg, recently when accelerating the engine revs spike up about 2-3hundred and instantly drop again?

Do you mean 2-3 thousand revs? if so does the box change up when the revs 'peak'?

When accelerate the revs occasionally jump 2-3 HUNDRED then drop straight away and it's not when it's changing gear, I've felt some pretty strong juddering aswell which isn't wheel spin

Any help?

Even on cruise control if I'm going uphill or the speed needs to increase the revs jump up and straight back down, when accelerating there's lots of juddering aswell, any help appreciated

Had oil & filter changed in dsg? How many miles ago?

Oil & Filter change in DSG box is not as crucial as VW would have you believe!!!

It sounds to me like the clutch pack or DMF is failing.

Thanks for the replies, I can hear it grinding aswell, is cluth pack or dmf expensive?

I would not be driving the car until you get it checked out.
