JVC headunit sleeve

Featured Replies

Just fitted my faithful JVC headunit and changer but i couldn;t find the metal sleeve that fits into the dash so i used a generic one from local motor spares shop.

does fine, except it doesn't hole the HU secure, meaning 1) it could easily be nicked and 2) on acceleration it slides out (not going fast, officer!)

anyone know where i can get a proper jvc or similar sleeve that will do the job?!

I've got the same problem.

When the dealer removed the radio from my wife's car (isn't she sweet!) he warned me that the clamps were missing (??) and the radio cannot be fixed properly.

As I read your post it hit me, the original sleeve is still in the car I drove 3 years ago!

Does anyone have a clue where to get a new one?

go to any audio dealer that deals in JVC and get them to order one as a spare part.

Halfrauds for instance will do this for you.
