ipod cable extension ?

Featured Replies

I have a Greenline II estate and, i was wonder if there is an extension cable available ?

Do you have MDI or Aux in fitted?

GLII has MDI

there is no longer version of the MDI cable I am aware of,

It is designed so the device attached is tucked in the cubby hole by the MDI socket as you should not need access to is as the functions are controlled from the radio

where are you wanting to put the ipod?

I have found a female to male extension cable for my MDI 8-) I can't get along with using the stereo controls, i.e when i want it to play an alum,it plays one song of it,then starts playing a song by another artist grrr.So now i'll have better control :D Oh and it's mainly my iPhone that is connected to it.

Sounds like something is set up wrong - If you play an album using MDI it should play the tunes in order they appear on the iPod/iPhone/etc.

Sounds like yours is set to play 'random'. Take a look in the HU menus to see if you can deactivate the setting. Sorry, I can't remember exactly where it is.

Ok cheers i'll have a look,oh and another thing it wouldn't play any songs the other day ????

All mine ever wanted to do was play the whole lot in alphabetical order

Next time I get in car it starts from beginning again

Gave up in the end and used a usb stick since.

Never looked back. :)

Then something is wrong as mine never does that and that's not how it's supposed to work.
