soggy roomster

Featured Replies

Hi all, Im new to this forum and would like to share a couple of concerns. I have a roomster bought new July 12, and whilst its generally good there is an annoying tendency for water to get in via the drivers window, collect in the window switch well and drain inside. I have sought help from Skoda customer 'care' only to be advised to - wait for it - close the window. Having driven hundreds of different cars in some 40 years, this is not only the worst car design in terms of the problem above, but the patronising response from 'customer care' leaves me a bit sore. I gather from the main dealers this IS a problem with roomsters and that for £48 I can have a deflector fitted to the window. I dont want to pay that, all I want is assurance from Skoda that in the certain future event of electric malfunction THEY will foot the bill.

Anyone else got a similar gripe and if so how have you progressed it.

Regards
