Prices of used CR170 4x4 Elegance models

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm hoping next year to be looking for a used CR170 4x4 Elegance Yeti.

At the moment, there seem to be very few used ones around, and the prices are still a little out of my budget (2010 models with reasonable miles are mostly £15k+).

What effect do people think that A) the passage of another 6-9 months and B) the arrival of the FL model will have on availability & used values ?

Was hoping to pick one up for maybe around the £13k mark next year, but not sure how realistic that is.

Thoughts please :)

Looking at the prices it would appear the FL is not going to hurt them that much, many people like the pre facelift so prices will be strong.

I guess it depends whether you want to buy from a dealer (with the extra protection that offers) or are willing to entertain a private sale. There will be people like me here with a CR170 to sell, probably sometime in the next several months for me**, and if they were to receive an offer that compared favourably with any trade-in that they'd been offered then a deal could be done.

** I'm getting ready to change but was waiting until more details of the FL became clear. Sadly it's looking like Skoda/SUK haven't made enough changes to the Yeti (no more powerful petrol with DSG, no real change in engine performance, perverse distribution of high-end models between Elegance and L&K, no evidence of increased refinement etc) to keep me interested. But I haven't made a final decision as yet and wouldn't be looking to sell on the existing Yeti until the new vehicle was to hand.
