Hi just after a bit of advice, I was looking to upgrade my filter on my vRS, but, do the aftermarket panel filters e.g pipercross actually make a difference compared to to the standard?

    As above, you get a bit more noise from inside that's all.

    Ok thanks, when you say something worthwhile I'm assuming you mean induction kit?

    No...better brakes, tyres, suspension, remap...

    Performance wise probably not but they do sound a little better. They also last forever though the counter argument to that is that you can never get them as clean as a new standard filter.
