PC attacked by malware :(

Featured Replies

Morning all, my work PC was attacked by by some fecking malware yesterday and my machine is crippled :( tried for an hour with the help of my IT guy over the phone to get it to work but no joy :( engineer is coming out to try and sort it this morning. It's strange how you feel when you are sat at your desk and the machine that is normally brimming with life and wonder is just sat there like a lump of stone!!

Reimage if your work has the capability. Takes longer to clear out.

But take care to find out how you were infected or it'll just happen again.

What happens? Does it actually get past boot and can you attempt to login? What OS are you running?

Agreed. If your work place has the capability then its far better re-image. Most Malware makes its way into the OS and can remain hidden even after cleanup.
