I was thinking of going for an Origin B2, but I see there is a B2 Solo with built-in aerial.

How does this compare with the original Origin B2.

does anyone have the solo? can the laser detection be turned off?

I think it's called the origin B2 solo mine works fine ...just be careful where you put it on the dash to get a good signal,........and just unplug the laser detector if you dont want it (seperate module and lead)

dead easy if you dont want the laser to work all it needs is the 12volt supply....I just ran mine from the ciggie lighter socket under the seat hid the wire behind the door pillar trim and down behind the A pillar trim and stuck it down just by the A pillar on the dash ...the wire will push very neatly behind the trim and behind the door seal rubber....sticking the damn thing on to the dash is another matter though ...had to use all sorts of sticky pads in the end

do you need to hard wire it if you want to use the laser detection?
