So I took my CD player out to get some measurements for when I get a new double din plugged it back in and it came up with safe, so I typed in the four digit code that I think it is but it doesn't do anything is there anything else I have to push? Thanks Paul

Dont know if it will help but on Freelander radio after the code is correctly input you have to press the search arrow

If it's the original stereo from the car, it should sort itself out if you leave it switched on for a while, mine took about 5 minutes.
