Having been waiting for this week since 16/08/13,my pre f/l yeti is being built,i know it will be 1 of the last pre f/l would love to know how near it was to being the last, but guess i never will.

Can't keep calling it pre f/l think i will reefer to it as original Yeti.

What's the latest news on your Yeti Octykent?

Will update with progress etc.

Well WK44/13 is the closest you can get to having one of the last proper Yeti's being built, so enjoy your new Monster.

" Yeti Classic " has nice ring to it.

The latest from my dealer is that the car has been built and has made it to Emden to await shipping. The African Highway is currently doing little figure of eight loops outside Emden possibly due to the stormy conditions. Once it's allowed in and loaded it should be on it's way to Sheerness and then on to Gillingham for PDI. I hope to pick it up either this weekend or early next week.

Had a look at the sea at Brighton Marina this morning. If I was awaiting a Yeti I'd hope it stayed wharfside for a while. :(

:-) I go and pick up my new yeti in less than an hour, I cant wait to get it out on the road (although it will be sad to see the last of Percy the red Polo)

I think the skipper of the African Highway has had a nip too much rum. He has been to'ing and fro'ing most of the day just outside the entrance to the river Eems whilst all around seem to be carrying on as normal; either that or he's feeling a bit  .

Neil.

Apparently the skipper had a few problems with the "park assist" feature on his ship, something to do with it getting wet. Anyway he finally got in and parked up at 06:40 this morning. Now he has loaded up with VAG products and has just set off for Sheerness.

Assuming his satnav doesn't start playing up he's expected at 18:00 tomorrow. I'll check with dealer tomorrow whether my car is aboard. :smirk:
