MP3 from DVD

Does anyone know how to rip an MP3 from a DVD? I've decided I need the theme from 'Monkey' as a ringtone. Alternatively a .WAV file would do the trick as well.

But, having tried several times using things like TMPGEnc to re-encode the ripped video as separate video and audio primary files, I've consistently failed - the audio is always silent

Can anyone please help?

Easiest way would be to do an analogue audio record by playing back DVD in player, hooking up a stereo line to the PC and do a wav record.

If you want to do it digitally, then it's a more involved process, using tools such as dvd2avi or others. www.doom9.net is a very good place for priceless guides, although they can be a bit tedious for best results ;)
