Mine hasn't got the alarm system fitted, but want to fit a siren to enable the beep on unlock/lock.

Does anyone know if the wiring it there ready?

Why on earth did Skoda not fit a 145mph car with an alarm as standard?!

Mines got an alarm,its about the only extra my cars got.I didn't know an alarm wasn't standard until I read this thread.

Replacing interior decorative strip O4

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.

I’ve recently bought a 1.0 Octavia estate etec it didn’t come with mats and I’m struggling to find mats that fit! Even genuine ones from Skoda themselves wouldn’t fit Has any one else had this issue and if so did you manage to sort it out ?

Apologies of this is the wrong place to ask... please feel free to send me in the direction of anywhere more appropriate.. My '72 plate Mk IV is just coming up to 80k miles. I can't find a service schedule for the car, but hear rumours of a 40k DSG oil change... Can anyone point me in the direction of service schedules, please?
