Yet another central locking problem

Featured Replies

Right, got a little problem with the Leon, which is just an Octavia in a Panda suit.

The rear offside door sometimes doesn't unlock and I'm getting 00931 (implausible signal) fault code logged intermittently.  But if you hit the unlock button a second time it always then unlocks OK.  This makes me think it is a mechanical problem rather than electrical.

Any comments?

could be the door mech on its way out, or your getting water ingress in the door connector and its starting to break down.  id get the door card off and have a look, and check connector as you don't it to fail with the deadlocks on... like mine!!!

I'm thinking its more likely mechanical as it locks fine, the window works fine and if you hit unlock a second time it always unlocks. Its also worse when the car has been sitting.
