Man from the Factory Event

Featured Replies

Had an email and postal leaflet about a Man From The Factory event at my local dealer next weekend. Unrepeatable bargains / special savings / some less than cost price / etc. Have to book an appointment.

I don't mind sitting through a sales spiel if it's potentially worth my while, but wonder if anyone has had experience of these sorts of things before I sign up?

Cheers

Presume this is an attempt to sell more pre-FL Yeti & Superbs / Mk2 Octavias that are left in stock?

Which dealer / area?

If you are looking to buy a car, find a bargain, or get some freebies or just nibbles, then 'whats the worst that can happen'.

If none of the above interest you, then why bother?

Ah good point. Our car is 2 years old now and we'd always thought we'd looking at replacing it in a year's time, so we thought we'd see if it was worth doing it a year earlier. But if this offer to sell existing stock, and we won't get a chance to customise a car with the optional extras we want (we are picky!) then I wouldn't be interested.

Local dealer is Progress Letchworth.
