LT400 & LT450 Laser Remote Control Kits - Discussion

Featured Replies

I have posted a GB for these units here - http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?p=387747#post387747

Please feel free to discuss the many issues, that I am sure will arise, here rather than clog up the GB thread.

Equipment info is here - http://www.lt450.co.uk/

The Million Dollar question is answered in the FAQ's -

Q8. Is the Target Laser Track influenced by other systems operating on the 904 nm wavelength such as police laser guns?

A8. Yes, every laser gun or other laser system (e.g. hunting & surveying range finders) that emits on a frequency of 904 nanometres is recognised by the Target LaserTrack as an external source of interference. The system has been designed to switch itself off after a few seconds to prevent mutual interference.

I think you should find that this will satisfy the current laws regarding the interuption of Police Laser transmissions as they would have to prove your intent.

If I can cobble together enough cash and sell my existing unit I will be seriously considering a purchase myself - Obviously, as ever, subject to SWMBO approval
