Fubar - yours was the inspiration, I followed your guide when I did my Octy but the Mk7/MK3 layout seemed sufficiently different to warrant a new guide for those people who might not attempt it otherwise.

I'm going through this now with my Octavia, so I will post up some pictures of differences I spot between the Golf and the Octavia, but it is pretty much spot on so far. Just got to plug the piggy back fuse holder in and tidy up the wiring.

One thing. In the VRS I found it easier to push the wiring from the drivers side, just above the foot rest through to the passenger side. Going the other way the wire just hit the foot rest.

just a bump - fuse 48 only has one point of contact from what I can see.  How can this be used?  others have said to piggy back of the rear wiper fuse?
