back bumper

Featured Replies

i recently brough a 63 skoda fabia reaction, today i was pulled up on the road and forgot to put my hand break on and my car rolled back back into the vehicle behind me, didnt do any damage to the other car just knocked abit of the plastic off the front, on the other hand my bumpers split the plastic and paint across the top of the bumper and made a few scratches and dents looks quite bad i was quoted £150 for the bumper to be fixed and resprayed this seems pretty resonable, the colour of my car is also limited edition will this effect the outcome as its not been taken to scoda.

Get a Quote of your skoda dealer and then compare

The painter has the paint mixed to the correct colour, if the can not do an invisible repair, then they have failed.

Meteor Grey Solid should pose no problem in matching.

£150 is not expensive, in fact its pretty cheap,

Is this a Professional Body Shop quoting or a Mobile Car Repairer?

yes its a professional car repairer, my dad actually works for skoda thats why im not taking it there he wont be happy iv only had the car a month so it needs to be a top job as theres no pulling the wool over his eyes but i have seen jobs and repairs this company have done befor and they are very good, i did think £150 was quite resonable but as a woman i dont no much about paintwork and repairs, but i no im looking at around 650 if i take it to skoda bit too steep, i just wanted to get it sorted befor he sees it so its booked in for the morning, thankyou :)

Someone hit my car at a roundabout two weeks ago doing what sounds like the exact same damage - small crack in the top of the bumper and a little scuff. Done through the other driver's insurance - £600 !!!!

They did a crap job too. Missed part of the repair and scratched the s*** out of the rest of the car washing it with what must have been  a brillo pad. Read some reviews for where you take it....
