Owned my first Skoda for just under a month.  I 1.9tdi Octavia Ambiente and so far loved it right until this morning when i started it up and had no power steering and the ABS and traction control warning lights all on orange.  Drove if for a bit before parking it up and leaving it.  Started it up a few hours later and only no power steering this time but as i was reversing it onto the drive to have a good look at it the power steering then came back on nad now all seems fine.  I hope this doesnt become a reccuring problem or is the start of problems with this car as its only done 40k miles and has a full service history.

Hook up to VCDS if you can find someone local with it - possibly the P.A.S angle sensor starting to give up.
