Got my VDO up & running!

Featured Replies

Today I finally mounted my VDO MS5000 navigation computer, VDO MR6000 headunit/screen, and VDO MW6000 cd-changer.

For pic's take a look at

and

(The MR6000 is a slide-out radio which after sliding-out automatically, can be tilted and then serves as a screen)

The cd-changer is located in the back of the Estate, behind the left cover.

I had a VDO-dayton unit in my old car..it was kick-***! Nice one man

Flash git...

That's pretty neat

Looks groovy.

Would they have been better swapped around so the screen was at the top though?

I had that first. But then realised that the screen partially covered the air-outlets and, by changing the two units, the screen would only cover the MS5000. Which doesn't matter, for the disc doesn't need to be taken out when operated.
