I'm looking to replace the front wiper blades on SWMBO's vRS, and the existing ones measure as follows;

Drivers side - 52.5 cm / 20.5"

Passenger side - 47cm / 18.5"

I'd like to fit Bosch Retrofit Aeros, but their sizes are all 18", 19", 20" 21" etc as far as I can see, no half inches.

Does anyone know which size I should be fitting, eg 20"or 21" on the drivers side, and 18 or 19" on the passenger side?

Any suggestions gratefully accepted, and faithfully applied (that sound a bit 'North East corner' for those in the know...!!!)

I stuck 20 & 21" on yesterday, seem to fit a treat...

They were Bosch aero twins if that makes a difference?

Good job I knew this or I'd have typed skoda Fabia wipers on eBay and bought the bosch aero twin set from there.

I thought a twin set was something my old maiden aunt wore with pearls?

Also, kiddy, was the passenger too big ie was the sweep are so big that it catches the top of the windscreen rubber surround?

If you can't get the exact size, I'd fit the fractionally shorter ones because most people won't notice the fractionally lower outer edge arc, but they will notice if the blade catches the screen edge and lifts off the glass.

Might cruise by HalFrauds and if they sell them ask to try both sizes, then order from hids4u or similar.
