09 Renaultsport Twingo 133 Cup chassis (lower/stiffer) 22k miles

Due to my recent success in selling my own car her, a relative has asked me to help her sell this:

As you can see, its in good nick much like the old dear herself (she's an ex Olympian in her 70's and doesn't like the firm ride of the lovely anthracite 17" wheels). It's also got FSH as you would expect and is taxed & MOT'd 'til Feb 2014. Why did she buy it? Don't know - possibly the same reason as she can wheelie a dirtbike!

She's looking for £5k and can be contacted on 07718921033 or 01848330815. Watch out - she bites!

Love these. Cracking little car and a great price. GLWTS :)

Thanks.

Just updated the RFL and MOT status which both expire in Feb. I'm also hoping it might generate a bit of interest/contacts for when I sell my own 172 Cup for about £2k, but as I recently put some new tyres on it (and its more sacrificial than my Skodas) I'll probably hang on until Spring and sell it with nearly 12 months' MOT- unless anyone persuades me otherwise. ;)

Where's she live?

Preston / Lancashire area by chance?

I do know someone who WAS actually looking for one of these 6 months ago. Don't know if he still is, but I'll ask.

Looks sweet that, with a realistic matching price too.

She's only a couple of hours up the motorway from Preston.  Might be worth a trip as they could look at 2 alternative Cups at the same time (different price points).  Your mate isn't called Rob by any chance?  Keep me posted as her son is abroad, so I'll help her with any viewings.

Funny how lots of pictures and little text works for folk.... :giggle:

Sadly just had a text off his sister to say he bought a 10 reg one a couple of months ago.

What it's like I have no idea, but his track record of car purchasing in the past is not very good, so I shudder to think what sort of shed this latest one is.

Sorry matey, as that would have suited him completely I reckon, but very GLWTS anyway, ( i don't reckon it'll be 'round for long) and thanks for updating the situation..

No, it's not Rob btw

Indeed, but sadly some in here don't see it that way.

Now, let's talk about DRL's and winking foglights ey?  :D

George and I are not very popular on these subjects......

Tell you summat matey, that picture of the AUDI  (just  ) was actually that bad, that it was actually BRILLIANT!

Don't know exactly what it's called in the advertising world, but I've seen it happen before, wherby something that's hilariously crap gets loads more attention than your dull every day ad's.

Absolutely no offence intended as I'm sure you know.

Even had young Ree admiring this car btw.

Not much interest yet?

You got it advertised elsewhere too?

You must have been reading some of my posts on DRLs! Picking up a new car (and dropping TT off with new owner) this afternoon so will be checking handbook and using VCDS to reduce bling factor to an acceptable level.

As for the Audi photo - you've got to work with what you've got - even when it's not a lot! Wife's not tech savvy so even getting photos posted was a bit hit and miss, but the buyer left a grand unrefundable deposit, viewed it with a mechanic and is getting it today.

The Twingo's on a specialist forum by dint of me having a 172 Cup (57,000 miles if you're asking), and her son has listed it elsewhere.
