...can't remember who said it, but it's true...I thought the spacers were the last thing I was ever going to do to the car...but they ain't...

First...yesterday on the highway, some **** in a truck ran over a pebble...it bounced off the f***ing tyre, and flew onto my bonnet and then hit my windscreen really hard. I know have a nice big white scratch on my bonnet, the centre part...thank God the windscreen din't crack............so I'm getting vinyl (for just the central part of the bonnet that is higher than the sides) fitted. I'm seeing the guy tonight. He did my old vinyl setup before, which I removed (it was red, and it looked really good, but it din't match my grille), so I trust him with it. He'll take the measurements and it should be done tomorrow.

My car is going for service soon....have the following things to do to it as well...

Things needed to be done on Jasmine:

01) Dent removal right-rear fender

02) Left driver/passenger door respray

03) Grille touch up

04) Seat replacement

05) Seatbelt retractor replacement

06) Reverse gear replacement

07) Check bonnet release lever.

08) Paint strips next to CD Player silver

09) Spoiler rust check

10) Check windscreen rubber surround

11) Get side mirrors (glass only) replaced

Nice list eh? Well...I gotta get them done, especially before warranty ends in February next year...who knows, I may have more things that need to be done that I haven't seen yet

So while these are being done, since my service comes up in about 500kms time, I'll have that don too then. I'm getting a 2.8 V6 Superb as a courtesy car too, it's already been arranged.

Once it's been all done up, I'm stickin' a "Performance Motorspares' decal in the rear where 'Fabia' used to be (Performance is the place I get most of my stuff from), and K&N & H&R decals on the driver door...

Second on the new list is a brand new stainless steal backbox...I'm not going to change the exhaust, I don't want to touch it, simply because emissions testing is v ery important here, and it will surely fail passing with no catalytic convertors. So..new backbox...made in Austria I believe, can't remember the name...need that nice rumble I'm missing, especially in idle...

All these things to do...I'll be havin' a blast once my car gets back out of there....

Sounds good, Mil! But trust me, it won't end there and you'll be looking at other stuff you can mod before too long
