Would this turbo fit on mine ?

Featured Replies

Hey guys new to this I have a 2005 skoda fabia 1.4tdi and crave to make it faster I wanted to know could I just throw the skoda fabia 1.9tdi turbo on mine ? Or any tips on how I can feed my need for more speed ?

Cheers

Hello and welcome :hi:

Have you had a remap done? I think you can get about 100bhp from these with a stage one. They're fairly nippy as they are!

I think a pd100 turbo will fit, I imagine you'd have to cut a branch off the manifold and weld it up though. You'd also need to map the turbo in, up until the injectors are maxed out. I also heard something about the head not being as strong on the 1.4 so may need to watch that.

I'd also weigh up the above costs against selling up and buying a pd100 or a VRS as it may be more cost effective, unless you've already got visual/interior mods and got the rest of the car how you want it.

inlet manifold and injectors different its alot of work better off getting a vrs or slapping a vrs engine in it and still enjoy 1.4 insurance

Okay cheers lads but thanks Ben90 I will inquire about that stage 1 re-map and taking all you have said into consideration it maybe cheaper to bite the bullet and look t prices for a vrs
