Jus spend the day at a vw garage in Rochford nr Southend by the name of VW MAD....

Cannot praise these guys enough... Steve and Stuart are too of the most genuine honest and helpful guys I've ever had the pleasure to meet...

They helped me with the fitment of my coilovers wishbones droplinks cai read the memory and made banging cups of coffee

In my world having run a business believe that recommendation speaks volumes and I know that if anyone in the Southend area needs help they are definitely worth a call or a look up on the book of face (vwmaduk)

This post isn't meant to prise work from any of the traders or garages that are involved with the briskoda site it's just I'm so happy with the way that the guys treated me I just wanted to share my experiences

Steve is a good friend of mine and yeah he is very good. His advice will always be to try and steer you I'm the right direction and help you out. Doesn't try to have you over with things which is nice.

I trust him on my vrs and my sisters polo as and when its things I can't do on my driveway or for big jobs.

Wound the backs down to halfway and front to match but front coming down more on Saturday at work when I do my tie rod ends..

Are there many meets in Southend anymore?

There are some occasional meets but its usually just certain groups of people in their own lil car groups scattered about.

A lot of my friends have a vag of some sort whether it be Vw, Audi, seat or skoda like myself now so sometimes just meet up for a chat and look at whats be done.

Usually the scooby group and ford and vauxhalll lot that have big group meets down there.

Yeah got to get some pics up as mods have been happening thick n fast.... Maybe we should look at getting a regular meet if there isn't one already

Well I think a few snaps would certainly go down well, I have been compiling a small amount of things to do on mine too so soon things shall get underway.

Well I know the guys on here have done a southeast meet which ended up over in Battlesbridge I believe but could always look into organising something so there's another possible regular meet which may mean that if people cant make one they may be able to make the other.

As I say I've a few friends that would prob show faces if there was something set up. Wouldn't be all skodas but would at least be from the main group

I'm hoping to go along to the next one which I've read should be in new year and see how it all seems. If there's some interest in another optional meet it may be worth looking into setting something up?!

I know I would have about 5 or 6 others that would show interest in coming with various vag group cars if we had it as an open ish meet?

Yeah as much as its be good to have purely a Skoda meet, not as many around here (that aren't taxi's) as to the other marques.
