hi my 2006 vrs built in door light does not work when the door is open, also the drivers door does not work the interior lights! help pls. is this an easy fix?

 

Must be a faulty micro switch that detects when the door is open.

Sounds like the micro switch in the door lock.

There's a tutorial in the Octavia Mk1 section.

Cost from the dealer would be over £300 as they simply replace the whole door lock mechanism.

The self fix would cost less then £10 plus lots if time.
