Well just had a call from the dealer - car arrives with them on Thursday !!!!

Going in Thursday PM to sign all the docs and give it a proper once over, pdi should be early next week then just need to arrange collection.

That's brilliant! Did they say where it is at the moment? Mine was still in Emden as of Friday last week. I will be chasing up my dealer again this Friday lol

It's this side of the water - just arrived and allocated a truck today to arrive thurs.

Well currently sat at the dealer signing all the paperwork. The car arrives today but apparently not until 4:30 earliest. Grrrrr.

Wonder if I can get away with drinking brew after brew and stay here until 4:30 ? Just a thought lol

Think I will have to pop down this weekend and have a proper snoop around.

Mine was in Emden on 19/12 don't think it has moved, dealer emailed me today to say he will know more on Monday, as going by previous answers after 15 days of taking root at Emden they escalate. Fingers crossed as it's my birthday next week and would be a great present!!

I had an update on 20th dec that mine was at emden as well. There's one ship just arrived at grimsby and another due in tomorrow am, they MUST be on one of them!!

That will cause a backlog at grimsby waiting for transporters! Can't win! Haha

Well I ventured out through the downpour and flooded roads to clap eyes on the new arrival today.

Looks stunning. Dealer held my brolly whilst I took a few snaps and had a good butchers round.

Whilst I was there a handover on a new race blue estate was going on in the handover room.

Really pleased I went with silver - very understated.

Now how do I get pics on here from my iPhone ?

My dealer contacted today the car is now in Blighty (Grimsby), however......there is a backlog because of Christmas.

 

The two vessels merrily worked throughout Christmas off loading no doubt 1000's of cars, but the car transporters obviously didn't....sad!

 

He is telling me it may be end of this week beginning of next, looks like I won't get it as a birthday pressie....sad again!

 

I wonder if I offer to go an collect on a trailer myself??

Can confirm this, mine arrived at Grimsby well before Xmas and dealer as just rang that it as arrived at the York dealership.

     

My it's been quite a wait, ordered mid July, Going to see it tomorrow

I also had a call today saying it's in Grimsby but won't get to the dealers until the end of the week.

Just had my email. Car is at dealers will be ready for pickup on Monday. Heading up there this afternoon to sign registration paperwork and have a gander.

Still bits of protection stuck all over...  the silver with the black pack, sunset glass and Anthracite looks amazing! Really chuffed. I need to get it down to the detailers next week for a ceramic coat and then I'll take some real pics to share
