My wee niece put her heel in her shoe through the tweeter grill in the back passenger door on my new Fabia VRS.

Had a wee browse on ebay and google'd it but nothing seems to be coming up. Possibly because I'm not exactly sure what they would be called. It's a rear door speaker grill to me. Lol

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement one of these or a part number I could search for would be good.

06 will be a MkI. If there's a local scrap yard with almost any MkI Fabia near you, you could bag one cheap They just prise out with a small flat bladed screwdriver and unplug. Part number possibly 6Y0035420 47H but check with the Skoda dealer.

I'll have a look around the scrap yards over the next week and see what I can come up with.

Getting the time to visit them is kinda hard though.

The one in eBay doesn't look like mine and is listed as front door. Mines is from the rear door and I didn't see any speaker it was just a grill but it was raining heavy and I was getting my son out the car so there might be a speaker where the grill used to cover.

Yeah that looks a bit more like it although mines is different shape. And that looks like a front door.

My door handle is nearer the front (of the back door)

That's definitely a rear right door. I've taken mine apart and reassembled it more times than I wish I had to

That was one of the things that popped up on ebay when I searched earlier. But the broken part DIDN'T have a speaker attached to it. Just a grill part.

that depends IIRC if the speaker is actually there which is dependent on spec. Mine is also speakerless. Just a bit of trim

I'll have a better look tomorrow when the weather and light is hopefully better.

I certainly didn't see a speaker and it wasn't attached to the grill although having said that. From where my drivers seat is positioned I was positive I heard sound from that area like a tweeter would give.

there's a speaker lower down in the rear doors. I'm no ICE expert but speakers can be deceptive as to where the sound is coming from in cars.

 

If possible take a few pictures and post them in your reply.

The said door that the grill is broken doesn't open hence why I've missed it when it was broke. It's going back in on Tuesday to get fixed as well as a few other things bit it doesn't look good having the gap left behind with it missing.

There is a part number on it that looks similar to what you've wrote.

yeah sorry I was thinking about the front door there again for some reason, the rears are, as you said, next to the parcel shelf.
