Not possible to display date on Columbus?

The time is showing in the maxi-dot and the main screen, but I have not found a way of showing the date as well. Is it not possible?

Shame no one with Columbus can answer your query. I am sure you have set the date format as per page 10 of the manual.

Mine is Amundsen & the date only appears when the screen is on but no functions are selected. The analogue clock complete with the date appears on the screen.

Might be the same with Columbus.

Time and date can be displayed on the screen only when the Columbus is switched off AFAIK. Go to screen settings and enable 'Show clock in standby mode'.
