Just after a little advice.

 

Is anyone who is Running Air Ride running the Bag over Coilover strut setup? what bags are you running?

 

There are loads of universal bags out there and alot of company's sell Full Strut set sups. Just looking at options.

 

I'll basically be building a setup over 2014.

I ran rayverns firestone double dougnut bag over GAS struts at the front + Firestone rear sleeve type bags.

No one has fitted dougnut bags to the rear to my knowledge because they expand too much when inflated although they are stronger than the sleeve type. The sleeve ones are still a tight fit at the back + some "modification" of the rear axle is required.

I wasnt happy with the ride quality of the front struts tbh even with adjustable damping. Think it might b the fact the fabia has quite a harsh chassis anyway + air isnt as comfy as good quality coilovers.

Also the rayvern front struts dont have a good solution to the knocking from the shocker top bearings.. they only last a few months on the airbag struts before they start knocking again :(

I bought matts kit of him the rear axel did need modifing quite a lot

Also u have custom made topmount on it and mine is a hatch back model and I find the handling a lot better then my coilovers witch were bilstein on par to my dads leon fr for ride quality one I set up the dampness correctly for my likening.

Also jack has donut bags in his rear but he doesn't have a lot of up or down movement it's allways quite low even at givers setting

Im running pretty much same set up as matt was, again ive had nightmare with top mounts. . Looks like it might have been sorted finally tho.

Theres a company near me who builds setups using coil overs and putting a universal bag on em. . But they really look cheap and nasty. .

Id save up n do it properly if I was you. . Theres no specific kit out there for a fabia but you can buy airlift mk4 golf struts and have a top mount made for them to fit propperly. . And obviously you get airlift quality. . But at a price.
