Strut brace for mk2 Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I have a mk2 Fabia VRS (62 plate if that makes any difference) and I want to fit a nice shiny strut brace but I cant for the life of me find one!

When I Google it I just get page after page for parts for the mk1 but no one seems to do anything for mk2.

Are they the same? Will a mk1 strut brace fit a mk2?

I hope someone can help!!

:)

fairly certain but happy to be corrected, that a MkI will fit, as Johnnie5 has one on his Roomster which is a MkII Fabia from the front to the B pillar :)

Don't you have to drill the top strut.. Some for sale on German eBay

Thats good to know. I suppose if I buy something and it doesn't fit or isn't right I could return it.

Indeed the SEAT Sport/Mono one that fits the MK1 fabia does indeed fit my Roomster.

I do believe the engine in the MK2 fabia vRS sits differently to the diesel lump of my Roomie so not sure it'll fit the petrol car.

Will shortly be trial fitting to a MK2 fabia PD105 so will update with my findings. Anyone in Medway wanna see if it'll fit a MK2 vRS??

Sorry! completely forgot about this thread! Just happened to click back on it. No I havent bought one yet but reading around, a lot of people are saying a brace for the mk1 will fit a mk2. Bit worried about having to drill, I thought I could just bolt straight on..
