Has anyone an image of the cigarette lighter in the vRS ? I've attached an image of mine, I've tried pushing it down to get it work but it just pops back up, and also checked the fuse.

 

Does the ring around illuminate when the lights are on ?

 

 

how is your handbrake housing so clean? Mines full of ash and tobacco

 

I have the same problem and tried several lighters to no avail as it's not on my priority list but there is power there as I use the socket to charge the phone. I think the tabs in the socket may need adjusting, ie pulling in with a small screwdriver. I'll let you know.

Was just about to post - "Lee will be along shortly" but then I saw the 1 new post message :p

I don't smoke therefore there would be no ash etc. I would just use it for sat nav etc.

At a guess that isn't the correct lighter so will not click into place to work

if you hold the centre down for a few secs when you pull the lighter out is it hot? mine doesnt hold its self down 

Mine doesn't work either, it charges phones and the like though.

 

I hold mine down and it just gets warm ish and that's it.

wish mine stopped glowing. It glows the same colour as my phone when it gets a text... ill be driving along with my arm between it and my eye line and every time I turn it flashes , making me think ive got a text... get all excited :(
