  1. I currently have, low level entry 3d printers just for playing around. Creality 3D LD-002R LCD Resin and Creality Ender-3 V2 (FDM). I find I get on personally with Resin a lot more, but I think the "useful" stuff really comes from the FDM printer as said above, printing parts etc. FDM is much harder I think to get better prints and requires more patience, things will go wrong, it's trial and error at times. Resin is awesome for miniatures, models etc, which can then be cured, primed, painted etc. I would think, from what you've said, he would be more interested in a FDM printer.
  2. Are they trying to sort it out? I was under the impression there was nothing to sort, it was a requirement more than anything. I guess I am fortunate in that it's not impacted me.
  3. I've been using 11 since I was able to get it on developer preview. I absolutely love it, I am really impressed. I found it simple and intuitive, the only thing I found frustrating was the start menu being placed centrally, but that was configurable to put it back to the good ol'place.
  4. Tried these events there before but it was quite a way on for some people, and a bit pricier. West Meon Hut I'm sure is reopen again now, I drove past yesterday and it looked like it was open.
  5. GU32 1JX That should do it, aim for the gravel car park, not the concreted one at the front of the pub.
  6. I use these guys, I know the owner personally: https://cotswoldcoffeeroasters.co.uk/ Absolutely fantastic family/people and the coffee quality is great.
  7. Nice idea. Had never really though of it as really having any impact at all. Made a small donation and will follow this to see what other ideas crop up.
  8. Is it realisable in the life span of the units?
  9. Will be very interested to follow this topic. It felt like way too much of an initial outlay when we looked into it and having an older, relatively inefficient property too we were dissuaded by family.
  10. Welcome, when in more positive times, have a look at the local south central meets 😀
  11. I've not been to a lot recently, but is a shame, sensible post Tony. Keep well everyone.
  12. Is that an unreasonable expectation in 2020? 😵
  13. Be good to get out on track with it and you again David
  14. Might be worth trying to get a feel at the next Meon meet as well
