my steering rack is leaking from from n/s has anyone ever thought about putting a audi tt rack in as it has a quicker ratio looks like it should just fit in easy

Tt rack fits Octavia base not fabia mate, I'm not sure if the sporty seat Ibiza has a quicker rack tho , ft rack would be too wide and possibly the wrong angle where the column fits, and wouldn't have provision for the steering angle sensor either

TT rack will not fit, and even it could would not work. The Fabia uses electronic power steering, whereas the TT and MK1 Octavia both use traditional belt driven PAS.

 

You need a rack from a Seat Ibiza, VW Polo or another Fabia.
